The average man lives between 70-80 years. Suppose there are more than 100 years old, only a few people. Especially at this time, many people who do not care about the food consumed.

 Is a man named Li Ching Yuen, who live up to the age of 256 years. According to the Times article in New York in 1930, Wu Chung-chieh, a professor from Chengdu University, found a Chinese government record.


There were 1,827 congratulations to Li Ching-Yuen on his 150th birthday, and further documents revealed there congratulations to him on his 200th birthday in 1877. In 1928, a New York Times correspondent wrote That, many of the elderly people in Li's neighborhood insisted that, their grandfather knew about Li's life until his long life.

Li Ching Yuen himself reportedly started his career as an herbalist at the age of 10, where he collected various types of herbs in the mountains and studied them. For almost 40 years, he only consume herbs such as lingzhi, goji berry, wild ginseng, gotu kola and rice wine.

In 1749, at the age of 71, he joined the Chinese army as a martial arts teacher. Li is said to be a popular figure in the community, even he married 23 times and fathered more than 200 children.

According to the story in Li's province, he was able to read and write as a child, and at his tenth age had traveled in Kansu, Shansi, Tibet, Annam, Siam and Manchuria only to collect various types of plants.

During the first hundred years he continued to do this work. Then he turns into an herbal seller collected by others. He sells lingzhi, goji berry, wild ginseng, gotu kola and other Chinese herbs, and lives just consuming these herbs and rice wine.

Li was once asked what his secret was for longevity. Here's the answer: "Keep your heart calm, sit like a turtle, walk lightly like a dove and sleep like a dog." These are the words of advice from Li given to Wu Pei-fu, the warlord, to learn the secrets of a very long life.

But it will be difficult to follow Li's current move, let alone we often eat fatty, sweet, and genetically modified foods.
